God is One But Not Limited

  • Even before Mount Sinai where the Jewish people received their Torah the divine word of God through Moses, God existed in the world called the God of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
  • Moses understood the eventuality that there would come into the world other religions after the destruction of the temples in Jerusalem.  He knew that God could not be limited.
  • Everyone needs religion as a starting point in life. Educate children in the way of simple faith in God that they should grow up to be honest respectable human beings.

It is right to say God is one but there is more to it than that.  For this reason it is written in Petach Eliyahu the words of the prophet Elijah “Opens Elijah the prophet to reveal God is one but not just one.”  One is a limitation and God is unlimited. Elijah reveals a secret truth for the sake of World Unity and Peace which was hidden until today.

Religion simplifies faith into belief in one God and no other.  The God of the Jewish people the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is one God the Jewish God.  The Jewish God is also called the King of the Universe. From there can be confused to think that the Jewish God and the Jewish people rule over the universe. This would put a limitation on God who is unlimited. The Jewish faith, the Jewish people conquered the land of Israel and established in the land of Israel the kingship of God of the Jewish faith.

Even before Mount Sinai where the Jewish people received their Torah the divine word of God through Moses, God existed in the world called the God of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  Adam and Eve came before there was Judaism.  The God of Adam and Eve is also called the Universal God because all human beings are the children of Adam.  The Bible also emphasizes Universal God in reference to Noah and his family who survived the flood.  Humanity are called the children of Noah. From Noah is revealed the family tree of humanity.  Noah had three sons Shem, Cham, and Jafeth.

God was later revealed to the world through another religion and prophet called Allah the One God. Ishmael the son of Abraham separated from his father as a child after being circumcised.  From Ishmael came another nation in the world which adopted another religion to bring into the world God of the nation of Islam. Mohammed wrote a new law for the nation of Islam the Koran and Sharia.

Religions emphasize the unity of God under the law of their nation and divine law.  The whole world is united by the Torah in the kingship of God of Zion.  The whole world is united by the Koran in the kingship of God of Islam.  The whole world is united by Christ the Messiah of the world and Christianity the World religion of the Messiah, the New Testament called today Christendom.

Jerusalem is the center of all three faiths.  All three faiths claim to be the true faith of the one God. All three faiths are Monotheistic preaching God is one in different ways.  They all claim dominion over humanity.  They all agree that God is one, but disagree also.

Scripture teaches that Elijah the prophet will return in the end of time not for the sake of religion but for the sake of peace. Elijah the prophet teaches to the world in his address to the world called Petach Eliyahu written in the holiest book in the New Age of Judaism Tikunei Zohar that to say God is one is not simple. God is not only one limited to being called one.  God is unlimited.  Each religion places a limit on God that he is Jewish, Christian, or Moslem.  Therefore God has been revealed in the world in more than one way, in more than one religion. In each religion is the divine hand.  All three religions are necessary to reveal God in the world.

Adam and Eve could not limit God to being their God in the Garden of Eden. Therefore they had to sin in order to bring into the creation Judaism and Islam.  Judaism alone could not take dominion under a Jewish God.  This hope of the Jewish people was destroyed by Jesus.  Judaism claims that it would have been a simpler solution for Zion to be the only religion and they refuse to change and accept Jesus.  If Judaism would be the only religion, God would be limited to being called the Jewish God.  God cannot be limited for he is infinite.  “God is One but.”

Moses understood the eventuality that there would come into the world other religions after the destruction of the two temples in Jerusalem.  He knew that God could not be limited.  However to reveal this truth was necessary to start with one religion Judaism.  Orthodox Judaism maintains its belief that it is the only true religion.  The other religions came later to oppress Judaism for its belief that it is the only religion representative of God on earth.  Only in this way could be revealed the truth that God is one but unlimited even to be called one.  Therefore Moses placed in the Torah the commandment “to know and take it into your hearts that God the One God called Havaye singular is also called Elokim which is plural tense. God is one but not limited to the known concept of one a number one 1, but an infinite unity which is one. (see the picture the sign of infinity)

The Lubavitcher Rebbe stressed in his speeches that the world has a master and creator and is not out of control.  The Lubavitcher Rebbe a Chassidic Orthodox Jew could not recognize other religions which came after Judaism.  For this reason his teacher the Baal Shem Tov the founder of Chassidism was instructed by the Messiah in a dream when he entered the heavens “spread outwards the wellsprings of Judaism the secret teachings of Judaism like Petach Eliyahu, for all of humanity to know these secrets.” Only through revealing these secrets could there be peace in the world.  Some secrets the Rebbe could reveal himself but to reveal other secrets which I am revealing it became necessary for him to bring into Judaism those Jews who were from families that had assimilated to unite all worlds together. Jerimiah and Isaiah the prophets revealed the goal of humanity to know and love God.

Even though religions conflict and it may cause it difficult for people on the outside sometimes to accept religion, this is in the plan of God.  For Moses to reveal the truth of the Unity of God, he had to start with one religion which was Judaism.  Today there are three major religions or which maybe have already branched out to three thousand but most important is to know that God is one but unlimited.

Everyone needs religion as a starting point in life. Educate children in the way of simple faith in God that they should grow up to be honest respectable human beings.  Everyone should know and be able to differentiate between good and evil which is the first lesson in life called the tree of knowledge of good and evil.  The second step is to find eternal happiness in knowledge and love of God which is revealed through uniting all three faiths with the One God, the Almighty called the Tree of Life. God is one but, and unites the Tree of Knowledge with the Tree of Life.

God will not let himself be limited. He will also not let the world become atheist. Religions have to be open to each other and all nations open to religion.  The nation of Israel of the past is not the only nation of God.  The State of Israel today which is open to all religions is the right way according to the prophet Elijah. Freedom unites the world. It is not an enemy of religion.

(The Zohar The Book of Splendor where is written the section Petach Eliyahu mentioned above has brought the the concept of Unity of God into Judaism and the world.  Above is a picture of the book written by the author of this article available on Amazon.)
