Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel – May 2, 2019

  • In and around 1941 Hitler officially declared his desire to exterminate all the Jews.  He already had this plan many years before.
  • The Jewish people are despised by the forces of evil that they were chosen to place the rock of faith in its proper place in Jerusalem to be the foundation of the holy temple.
  • The source of Anti-Semitism is the desire to uproot the rock of faith.

Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel is celebrated a week before Israel Independence Day.  This year it falls out on Thursday, May 2.  Every Human being suffered from the wrath of Hitler.  Six million Jews were killed in concentration camps in Europe and over forty million people died in World War II.

In and around 1941 Hitler officially declared his desire to exterminate all the Jews.  He already had this plan many years before.

There are many opinions why it was so important for Hitler to exterminate the Jews in his mission to conquer the world.  The Lubavitcher Rebbe of blessed memory refrained from answering questions about the reason for the Holocaust.

Rabbi Shlomo Carlbach of blessed memory in one of his lectures and songs screamed out to God and asked God, “Why were six million Jews killed in the Holocaust?”  Can we question the will of God?

The Torah was given to the Jewish people on Mount Sinai.  In the Torah one of the commandments is: Thou shall not kill.   Hitler was against God.  By killing all the Jews successfully Hitler would be able to claim that “I am the Lord.”  The Jews representing the Torah were in his way to destroy the belief in the God of Israel. He would then be able to say, “I am the Lord.”  My word is the law of God. My people

the Arian race are supreme the representative of the Fuhrer and Fascist Germany. The Day of Holocaust Remembrance is a day of Thanksgiving, that Hitler failed and the Jewish nation continues to exist.  They have returned to their land and have built a new nation where today lives six million Jews.

The Jewish people are despised by the forces of evil that they were chosen to place the rock of faith in its proper place in Jerusalem to be the foundation of the holy temple.  This rock is called in Psalms 118:22, The despised rock placed in the earth the foundation of the temple is the rock of heaven.”  The evil forces despise this rock and want to remove it from the earth.  They despise the Jewish people who represent this rock of faith in the earth.  Moses sent the Jewish people into the land of Israel to place this rock in the earth to be the foundation of faith in One God for all mankind.  Hitler and other anti-Semites in history by destroying the Jewish people have wanted to uproot this rock and have failed.  The source of Anti-Semitism is the desire to uproot the rock of faith.  The Jewish people are the foundation of faith in the world.  They are the first of all Monotheistic religions which came after them. As long as there is evil in the world; there is the desire to destroy the Jewish people.

Christianity came after Judaism.  Christianity cannot exist without Judaism which is the foundation of faith.  Pope Francis publically said, “Jews and Christians are partners in the Holy Bible.”  They are two religions connected to the revelation of God on Mount Sinai. He visited Aushwitz this year in honor of those Jews lost in the holocaust.

Judaism and Christianity have always been opponents.  They cannot become one faith for many good reasons.  They sometimes grow together like was through the gesture of Pope Francis and his help in fighting Anti-Semitism.  Sometimes they clash.

There is an orthodox Rabbi in Israel who is working toward good relations between Jews and Christians.  It is all written in history and explained by Rabbi Ariel Cohen.

The Lubavitcher Chassidim have in the past generation declared that their religious leader who passed away in 1994 is the Messiah.  According to the Zohar the world is divided into two spiritual realms which make a place for two messiahs.  In the light of this belief there are two messiahs; only God is one. The same question exists about the question of who is the true nation of God, is it Israel or Islam?  Through an open mind there can be peace but not through extremism.  There is a question if they can share the land of Israel, which is the meaning of the two state solution. For sure there is a place in the world for two nations of God Islam and Israel just like the two messiahs share the world.
