Dulles Airport has thousands of Congo migrants exposed to Ebola virus arriving each week at Dulles Airport. The job posting seeks help from EMTs to screen the migrants arriving on flights from Congo Africa. Ebola virus has infected thousands and killed thousand of people in the Congo. Dulles Airport is importing Ebola virus diseases free of charge to Washington DC area.

Ebola virus disease (EVD), also known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever (EHF) or simply Ebola, is a viral hemorrhagic fever of humans and other primates caused by ebolaviruses. Signs and symptoms typically start between two days and three weeks after contracting the virus with a fever, sore throat, muscular pain, and headaches. Vomiting, diarrhea and rash usually follow, along with decreased function of the liver and kidneys. At this time, some people begin to bleed both internally and externally. The disease has a high risk of death, killing between 25 and 90 percent of those infected, with an average of about 50 percent.

Have a current and unrestricted EMT License to practice in any US state of territory.
Current BLS.
Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.

Scope of Work:

To screen passengers that have traveled back from Ebola affected nations. This will include checking vital signs, temperature  and having passengers filling out questionnaires. This will include tracking and reporting all recovered results.
