- No dictator has succeeded in conquering the world.
- Nimrod who came after the flood had the chance and failed.
- The holy temple in Jerusalem stood for four hundred years and was destroyed by the Romans.
The story of the Tower of Babel has a universal message. Just after the flood of Noah mankind began to rebuild. Nimrod a warrior wanted to conquer the world that all people should speak the language of his nation. He began to build a tower to show his strength.. God interfered with their plans and spread the people of his nations throughout the world speaking many languages.
This is the Bible story in Genesis 9:
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, and they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said to one another, Come let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. And they said, Come let us build a city and a tower, whose top may reach to heaven; and let us make a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the children of men were building. And the Lord said, Behold the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do. And now nothing will be withheld from them, which they have schemed to do. Come let us go down, and there confound their language, they may not understand one another’s speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from there upon the face of the earth; and they ceased to build the city.
Today there are many nations in the world each with their own colloquial speech. There are 7,111 spoken today. That number is constantly in flux. In the history of time there have been attempts by nations and rulers to conquer the world but none have been successful. Civilizations have built great structures. The greatest two structures built in the history of mankind were the two holy temples which stood for nine hundred years in Jerusalem. Even these structures which were built for the sake of the name of the One God were not forever. About this King Solomon who built the holy temple relates in Psalms 127, Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain.
Napolean Bonaparte was a French military general who rose to prominence in the French revolution becoming the ruler of the French republic. He dominated European and global affairs for more than a decade while leading France against a series of coalitions in the Napoleanic wars. He won most of these wars and the vast majority of his battles building a large empire that ruled over most of continental Europe. He is considered one of the greatest commanders in history before his collapse in 1815.
Adolf Hitler the leader of the Nazi Party of Germany invaded Europe in an attempt to bring all of Europe under the flag of Germany. In 1939 he invaded Poland. In 1941 he ordered an invasion on the Soviet Union. He was defeated in 1945 by the allies.
Civilizations have risen throughout the history of the world but they have seen their end. Great Structures have been built by nations to display their strength and unity like the Twin Towers Buildings. On September 11, 2001 there was a terrorist attack which destroyed the twin towers buildings. It was a horrifying event in World history.
The United States has not given in to their enemies and they have rebuilt, constructing the Freedom Tower.
The largest building in the world today is the towers of Dubai:
Esoteric teachings relate that there are three energies which interplay in life. These three energies are the energy of creation, destruction, and energy to sustain life called the energy of peace. The energy of creation is also called the energy of attraction related to the inhalation of the breath. The energy of destruction relates to exhalation repulsion. Attraction creation and repulsion destruction are opposite energies. Good and evil are at war. Good is the creative energy. Evil is the destructive energy. These two forces are included in God and his creation.
America fights for democracy and freedom. Opposing America are the opponents of freedom. Nazi Germany was a one party nation. Those that wanted to build the Tower of Babel were of one speech a one party nation. They were dispersed by God throughout the world into many nations and languages.
Israel was once a one party nation with a strict law and dictator. The Biblical nation of Israel ruled the world for four hundred years until it was conquered by the Babylonians. After seventy years of exile, the Jewish people returned to their land in an attempt to establish their nation again. They built the second temple which stood for another four hundred years. The Romans conquered Israel and destroyed the holy temple. The Jews were dispersed throughout the world. From a one party nation in Biblical times today the Modern State of Israel is a multiple party democratic state. The Tower of Babel was never again built. Every dictator in history which attempted to conquer the world has failed. Only God is one. Jews may claim to be the only nation of God on earth; but Islam will not release control of Palestine. The Christian Byzantine Empire fell in an attempt to bring the world under the dominion of their Messiah. The Vatican the smallest nation in the world remains from them. Only God is one. The Unity of God is the unity of the three energies, the creative, destructive and the energy of peace.
God will not allow a Tower of Babel a one party state to rule the world. Where there is freedom of religion these one party states can live forever in a democracy but they cannot again rule the world again. The fall of ISIS is recent history is an example. There is peace when all three aspects of life are represented in harmony which are spiritual, material and their unity under the roof of the attribute of mercy.
Moses prophesized in the story of the Tower of Babel which occurred after the flood that after the flood of World War II in which was killed over 40 million people, will start a new age that has learned its lesson not again to build the Tower of Babel but to live under the roof of mercy.
