- Gender Dysphoria is real.
- I am keeping religion out of my race and when elected, I will keep religion out of policies and politics.
- We need people like Mr. Pratt to wake up and be human, have a heart, have a conscience, and stop the homophobic and transphobic attacks on society.
On this PodCast, Mr. Pratt Blatanny shows his homophobic and transphobic nature, in his words that clearly are meant to hurt. Well, I wanted to confront this issue, and give you my side of all of this.
He states, “a man who pretends to be a woman.” Clearly a transphobic punch in the chest, but let’s talk about this issue, GENDER DYSPHORIA is real and is not a pretend fantasy. Gender dysphoria is a condition where a person experiences discomfort or distress because there’s a mismatch between their biological sex and gender identity. It’s sometimes known as gender incongruence. This mismatch between sex and gender identity can lead to distressing and uncomfortable feelings that are called gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria is a recognized medical condition, for which treatment is sometimes appropriate. It’s not a mental illness. A twin study (based on seven people in a 314 sample) suggested that GID may be 62% heritable, indicating the possibility of a genetic influence as its origin. In these cases. Gender dysphoria occurs in one in 30,000 male-assigned births and one in 100,000 female-assigned births which now is leading to higher numbers. In recent studies it showed Gender dysphoria occurs in one in 7,000 male-assigned births and one in 50,000 female-assigned births.
Mr. Pratt states, “repeal the right to work laws, which of course will force you to join a union to have a job,” slamming my campaign about repealing this law. In actuality, repealing the right to work laws does nothing of the sort. Repealing these laws will block employers from using union reps, without paying dues, costing unions thousands and thousands of dollars a year. This will also allow all due paying members to be represented fairly, and will also cut down the use of unions by non-union employers. It has nothing to do with your right to work in the state, it does not mean you have to join a union to work, it just protects unions, and in turn, protects all employees…
Mr. Pratt states, “More Gun Control,” Where have I ever said more gun control? my campaign states, “Gun ownership is our Constitutional right. Gun safety is our personal responsibility. Better gun safety training will prevent countless deaths and accidents. If we keep guns in our homes, we parents need to take responsibility for safely storing them, and training ourselves and our kids on proper use. I will work to enact common-sense gun safety protocols to keep our children safe. I will also work to fix the gun show loopholes, so criminals and severely mentally ill patients will not have access to guns.” This is not gun control or limit your right to own guns, this is a safety issue, and we have to do what is right to protect our kids, by preventing accidents and properly taking the necessary precautions if we are a gun owner.
Mr. Pratt states, “combat climate control, I guess they will do this by smoking marijuana.” Pratt is joking about this serious matter. Climate change and global warming is real. Let’s step outside in west Texas or most places here in December and the middle of January. It is not cold and feels like spring outdoors; the seasons are corrupted and all because of climate change. We need to get to the bottom of this issue and help save our planet. If we don’t then our future generations will not have a planet.
Mr. Pratt states “Wiccan who is a strong ally of Atheist and Humanist.” Well, religion shouldn’t matter in politics, as the laws state separation of church and state, but we as humans seem to forget this. I am keeping religion out of my race and when elected, I will keep religion out of policies and politics. Being Wiccan, Atheist, whatever religion one might be, is the choice of the individual, and one shouldn’t be judged. I have helped hundreds in Lubbock with the Atheist Group, feeding the area homeless, and helping our less fortunate. What has Mr. Pratt done for the community as a Christian? Has he helped the homeless? Has he followed the Bible and ‘loved thy neighbor’ or ‘do not judge’ or ‘Love everyone’? My religion and my life is surrounded by love, love for everyone, love for animals and plants, and doing the ultimate good, helping anyone in need, no matter the race, gender, religion, or nationality. Something most of the “Christians” have forgotten about. We are all supposed to help those in need and love everyone. Why does it take a certain religion to do this? It should be human nature.
Mr. Pratt talked about my views on the legalization of marijuana, Well there are numerous reason why this should be legalized including:
- Science has repeatedly proven the consumption of marijuana produces no adverse effects on personal health.
- Medical marijuana is an excellent pain reliever and can be used appropriately for a considerable variety of medical purposes, including Cancer, PTSD, Epilepsy, Glaucoma, And multiple other medical conditions.
- Decriminalization and eventual legalization will reduce overcrowding and keep many otherwise law-abiding young people from being imprisoned instead of being productive members of society.
- Legalized marijuana will bring revenue to the counties and state by implementing a state tax on marijuana sales.
To close, Mr. Pratt has attacked my campaign from the start. In July, MR Pratt posted this podcast. I just want to say, we need people like Mr. Pratt to wake up and be human, have a heart, have a conscience, and stop the homophobic and transphobic attacks on society.
