Asda nutritionist Beth Fowler said: “We understand retailers play a crucial role in helping customers make more informed choices in the supermarket aisles, which is why we’ve taken the step to erase cartoon characters from our own brand cereals.
“We’ve launched a new ‘Live Better’ icon, signposting the healthiest options in Asda’s own-brand ranges. It’s just one of the many initiatives Asda is rolling out in 2020 to help make a positive impact on our customers’ lives.”
In addition to the laws concerning facemask wearing in public places Asda has introduced a policy that has come to be known as “shop on board”. This policy allows customers in the store to pay for their items without having to stand in line to do so.
As long as the cashier is available to accept the payment from the customer is free to leave the store and go about their business. This is a great benefit to Asda’s loyal customers because it saves them time and makes shopping at Asda more fun.
