Robert was born and raised in a small town, Montrose Pennsylvania, and graduated from Penn State University. He has lived in many different states and currently resides in St Charles, Missouri. Instead of going to college after high school Robert helped pay the mortgage on the family home for three years working in a factory and later in automobile sales.
Robert spent four month traveling throughout Europe including Morocco Africa when he was 21 years old before going to Penn State. There he earned his way through college by being a resident counselor as his father’s company went out of business and his parents couldn’t afford any financial help.
After graduation he went to work for Corning Glass Works and was their advertising/sales promotion manager. He was forced to leave Corning Glass when they sold their appliance business to Amana Refrigeration. After Amana, Robert went to work for several independent appliance distributors. Before retiring, Robert was owner of Max Equity Home Improvement Inc., Max Equity Contractor’s Buying/Marketing Group LLC and Contractors Website Design-Hosting LLC.
Robert has a beautiful wife and four adult children. He is very blessed with two girls happily married and two boys employed. He also has four grandchildren.
Over twelve years ago Robert was in a serious accident that changed his whole life. He fell over 35 feet from a tree he was cutting down in his back yard in Chesterfield, Missouri. Robert was rushed to the a trauma hospital and they found that he shattered his left ankle, they said his left pelvis and hip was mush, he broke his pelvis in half and shattered his right pelvis. He also broke three ribs and punctured his lung. Robert spent two and a half months in the hospital including time spent getting a new hip and socket a year later.
Because Robert was self-employed he could not work or receive unemployment insurance. This caused them to declare bankruptcy and walk away from their home of 23 years. Fortunately a good friend helped him buy a more modest home in St Charles, Missouri. Robert also had a broker’s real estate license and was to get a great deal on his new home which they can now comfortably afford.
Robert has been studying the Bible for over 25 years. He spent 20 years in (BSF), Bible Study Fellowship and is involved in numerous Bible. He also traveled to Poland on a mission trip including Cracow where millions of Jews were murdered. Several years later Robert spent ten days touring Israel and the West Bank.
After he retired, Robert has volunteered at Salvation Army’s Soup Kitchen, Oasis Food Pantry and their “Jobs for Life” program. He has also involved in helping the homeless in St Charles County.
This December, Robert had open heart surgery due to his chronic a-fib causing severe shortness of breath. After nine different heart surgeries, including his three latest, the “Cox Maze Procedure” which cured his a-fib, they also repaired his leaking arterial valve, and a week later they replaced his defective pace maker. It will be another month or so before he is totally healed from his heart surgeries.
Robert also wrote a book: “The Truth Will Set You Free, Eleven Myths Satan Uses to Deceive Man”. The book is available through Amazon, Barns & Noble and I-Tunes in e-book, paperback and hardback form.
