I have a BA English from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, and an MA Journalism from the University of Technology, Sydney. I attended American University in Washington, DC for Public Policy and have minor concentrations in Communications.
I lived in Sydney, Australia for six years where I wrote for The City Hub as an events reporter, and a radio presenter and journalist for 2SER Radio and Eastcoast Jazz. I wrote and produced stories on social issues and most notably, domestic violence in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
I worked in NYC in a major PR firm after completing my MA, then moved back to Sydney to work for a further two years and have been writing corporate communications ever since.
We moved to Ireland after Sydney where I was a contributor for blogs and online magazines. I owned my own design business and was invited to present on numerous TV programs because of the success of my company.
Moving back to the US after 20 years away, I am back to writing corporate communications and continue to blog for design, while health and wellness is a foremost a passion of mine.
I started what's become a very successful online support group for thyroid disease eight years ago and continue to research, advocate and write associated articles for thyroid disease.
