The president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited a hospital in Minsk. At present, Belarus is dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic. There have been 1,691 new cases of Coronavirus infection on November 28th. This is the highest number in one day ever recorded in Belarus.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 131 thousand people have been infected in Belarus
During the hospital meeting with the staff, Lukashenko made a statement that Belarusian KGB interceded the conversation of the Head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitro Kuleba.
Furthermore, the president of Belarus told the the staff at the hospital that Kiev created a dedicated center geared to influence Belarusian politics. Therefore, it could be considered foreign interference.
If the center does exist, it is pure hypocrisy. Ukraine has been complaining that Russia is constantly interfering in the Ukrainian politics, yet Ukraine is doing the same to Belarus. Ukraine as it stands has a very difficult political and economic situation.
The KGB is formally controlled by the Alexander Lukashenko. This week, the European Parliament adopted a November resolution pertaining to tougher sanctions against Alexander Lukashenko and his government.
It should be noted, earlier Kuleba demanded for the EU to introduce harsh measures against Minsk. “We are losing our capabilities by not taking drastic measures. The European Union should impose serious sanctions against Belarus in order to paralyze the activities of the state, business and production, ” the foreign Minister said.

“We all want sovereignty and independence, but independence is very expensive. If the Belarusian people are ready to maintain this independence and fight for it, no matter what it costs, let’s fight.

Lukashenko is confident that Russian-Belarusian relationship is strengthening. This week, there was a discussion pertaining the export of the Belarusian oil products through the Russian infrastructure.
This discussion is a result of the rerouting of the oil products supplies from Lithuanian ports and to Russia. Russia and Belarus are currently actively negotiating the volume of oil and gas supplies, as well as their prices. As for redirecting the flow of Belarusian exports.
There is an important press conference scheduled on December 17th. The Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a virtual press conference from his residence. For the first time, there will be a special app launch, which will allow the Russian populous to ask Putin questions in the real time, including pertaining the Russian Belarusian partnership.
