- On the same day an explosion happened outside the office of the Pro Life Party Head in Ukraine.
- In both cases an unusual gun for the Eastern Block was used.
- Valery Davydenko's colleagues do not believe it was suicide.
This Saturday the body of Ukrainian MP Valery Davydenko was found by the toilet. The cleaning lady who found his body stated that he appeared to have a gunshot wound to the head. The location was the office of the European Solidarity party, a political party in Ukraine. It has its roots in a parliamentary group called Solidarity dating from 2000 and has existed since in various forms as a political outlet for Petro Poroshenko.
Thus far, it is considered suicide, but it is under investigation. Law enforcement officers are conducting operational measures to find out the circumstances of the death of the people’s Deputy of the Rada from the Chernihiv region.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is the unicameral parliament of Ukraine. The Verkhovna Rada is composed of 450 deputies, who are presided over by a chairman in Ukraine’s capital.
There are many surveillance cameras in the area and it is plausible that certain details will emerge. Valery Davydenko was a member of the Petro Poroshenko party previously. This incident is just days after the leaked tape of Joe Biden and former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
Colleagues of Davydenko do not believe it was a suicide. He was active on Twitter the day before and even tweeted his future plans. There was no indication of a desire to end his life. Davydenko was an oligarch prior to entering public service. His wealth and financial interests were transferred to his family members since he couldn’t run his business concurrently with being a public servant. His previous career included co-ownership of a bank and other agricultural resources in Ukraine.
What is peculiar is the gun used in the so called suicide. The gun was a Glock. It is not a common gun that is used or preferred for use in the former Soviet Block. This has a connection. Last month, Russian oligarch Dmitry Bosov, the largest shareholder and head of the Board of Directors of Alltek Group, supposedly committed “suicide” using a Glock.
Tensions have escalated in the Donetsk region. Bosov’s previous connection to coal has its own angles in this mystery.
On the same day an explosion happened outside the office of the Pro Life Party Head, Viktor Medvedchuk, in Ukraine. It is an opposition party in Ukraine which was founded in 2018. The party is the successor of the former All-Ukrainian Union “Center” from 1999 to 2016. Medvedchuk is an oligarch and pro-Putin supporter in the Ukraine. The explosion could be an attempt at retaliation for the so called “suicide” of Davydenko, who spoke out negatively about Putin’s politics on many occasions.

It is clear this is going to be a bloody summer in the former Eastern Block. There is a shift in Russian policy and a power play for change is underway in certain areas.
