Communal News (CN) has notched another milestone achievement. It is now being published on Facebook News. For the thousands of CN contributors, this is another venue in which your contributions to CN can be read. For Facebook readers, we have our new service at your Facebook News fingertips. Facebook News joins Communal News and Google News in delivering CN’s global fact-based news, often written by you the public. Along with the news service, CN is being published in over 100 global languages, on social media, and often finds advanced placement in organic search engines such as Google, Bing, Baidu, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo.
In 2020, Communal News is experiencing robust reader growth both in the number of visitors and the number of visits. CN’s visitors numbers are up around 25% over the last 30 days alone and on January 3, 2020, CN broke their own record with over 42,000 pages being viewed in a single day. With multiple traffic numbers (both on CN and Freelance Global Gigs or FGG) increasing daily, we wonder how long that 42k record will stand?
The Communal family of outlets still has very exciting plans for 2020 and we are working diligently to improve and expand our CN and FGG distribution platform. We hope to make future announcements shortly.
We migrated to a new, far faster, dedicated server at the end of last year– making our download speeds much more attractive.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The date was removed from all our old links during the transition. In most cases, this will help your internet search rankings, but by the time we caught this change, it was too late, and this will cause some “broken link” issues from your websites. We wish we did a better job at migration and we apologize for issues this may cause for some of you.
The rebranding of Freelance Global Gigs from CommunalMP.com, which we wrote about previously, seems to be paying off well, and we are proud to provide one of the lowest cost platforms utilizing traffic and article inclusion from the two largest English language global news services. We are providing support and gig services across the largest number of languages, covering nearly the entire global, and we seem to have significantly higher traffic due to the rebranding already.
We hope you have a great 2020 and we again hope to have more good news for you this year.
