Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said 52 Indian students and one teacher had returned from Tehran and Shiraz, in Iran. The aircraft carrying the 53 passengers arrived at Jaisalmer Airport, in Rajasthan. All were rushed to the Army Wellness Center after a preliminary examination. Jaishankar said the Embassy officials and Iranian officials in Iran had worked very hard to get them back to India.

The Forest Research Institute in Dehradun, in Uttarakhand, has stopped all tours until March 31. The Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee sent a foreign student and eight Indian students in to isolation for 14 days on suspicion of Covid-19.
In view of the coronavirus outbreak, the Patna High Court has decided to limit its activities to urgent matters. Superintendent of Police Rajiv Ranjan said that a suspected Covid-19 patient escaped from Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital in Bihar on Sunday. He said he escaped while being taken to the isolation ward. Ranjan said the information has been forwarded to police and district officials. There are currently 110 coronavirus cases diagnosed in India. The highest number of 32 cases were reported in Maharashtra.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to speak to officials today via video conference to review the measures being taken to curb the spread of coronavirus. The meeting will be attended by the Deputy CM, the Minister of Health, the General Secretary and the Health Secretary.
A case has been registered against 79 people for violating bans at Kochi airport premises. Authorities have filed a case against the man who arrived at the airport to greet a man who was on a reality show.
