The “divorce” is confirmed. ”Rebels” Harry and Meghan have finally said goodbye to the Royal family because Queen Elizabeth has not agreed to officially recognize the limbo in which the young couple has put itself in moving to California.

This was confirmed by both the Dukes of Sussex and Buckingham Palace in a series of the official published cross communiqués.

“Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of the Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service,” a Buckingham Palace spokesman said.

“While all are saddened by their decision, The Duke and Duchess remain much-loved members of the family,” the statement continued.

A spokesman for Harry and Meghan said: “As evidenced by their work over the past year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain committed to their duty and service to the UK and around the world, and have offered their continued support to the organizations they have represented regardless of official role.”

They added: “We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.”

Queen Elizabeth Confirms That Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Will Not Return as Working Royals

That of the sovereign is certainly a drastic solution, as Elizabeth, even under pressure from Prince William – Harry’s elder brother and heir to the throne after his father Charles – apparently, never accepted the escape of Harry and Meghan and the simultaneous claim of retaining all honorary and military titles from California.

This last point will certainly be very painful for Harry, who among other things is, indeed was, the captain of the Marines: titles that the prince son of Charles and Diana held very dearly, after his experience in the army as a boy.

Above all, it is rumored in London, Harry could not bear to be deprived of military titles when these have been kept by his uncle, Prince Andrew, heavily implicated in the sex scandal related to the suicidal American billionaire  Jeffrey Epstein.

Among other things, the announcement comes at a very delicate moment for the Royal Family, because the spouse of Elizabeth II,  Prince Philip, is still hospitalized at the King Edward VII hospital in London at the age of 99 for an unspecified “illness”. In short, a timing that is at least unsuitable. But the divorce had to go on and so that’s enough.

However, according to the Daily Mirror, Harry has already booked a private jet to fly to London immediately should his grandfather’s situation worsen.

News reporting is my thing. My view of what is happening in our world is colored by my love of history and how the past influences events taking place in the present time.  I like reading politics and writing articles. It was said by Geoffrey C. Ward, "Journalism is merely history's first draft." Everyone who writes about what is happening today is indeed, writing a small part of our history.
