Holocaust Lesson for Mankind

  • The Holocaust is a lesson to Jews and to the world that no one party or religion can take control of the world.
  • The Holocaust is a strong message from God for the Jewish people to accept a New Law which gives respect and freedom to other religions in the world which believe in Monotheism which means primarily Christian and Islamic religion.
  • Extremism in the two directions of Nationalism and Globalization both will lead to destruction of mankind on the individual the national levels.

Six million Jews were slaughtered in the Holocaust by the Fascist Nazi Regime of Hitler and over forty million human beings.  According to Wikipedia Fascism is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and control of industry and commerce. Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete and they believe in a complete mobilization society under a totalitarian one party state. Such a state is led by a strong leader a dictator and a martial government composed of members of his governing party to forge national unity and maintain a stable orderly society. Fascism rejects assertions that violence is automatically negative in nature and views political violence, war, and imperialism as a means that can achieve national rejuvenation. German Fascism was also racial.  Hitler claimed that the German people the Aryan race were supreme. The Holocaust came to teach a lesson to Jews and to mankind.

In the history of the world there have been many dictators who have used their power like Hitler.  Hitler may be considered the worst of these evil leaders. In the history of the world there have been political and religious racists that used the type of idealism used by Hitler for the sake of National Unity. There are still movements in the world using this type of racism for the sake of national unity.  There are two major types of governments which are dictatorship and democratic.

Fascism opposes democracy.  During most of the history the nations of the world were ruled by dictators.  In the last five hundred years democracy has become the most popular type of government.  In recent history the dictatorships of leaders of nations in the Middle East have fallen.  Communism has fallen in Russia.  Communism still remains in North Korea and China but in the rest of the world nations have come over to democracy.  The main difference between democracy and dictatorship is that democracy gives their people freedom and liberty.  In democracy the people elect their leaders democratically.  Their nation is ruled by the majority who elect a parliament. In dictatorship the nation is controlled by a small number of people or by an individual in a Monarchy.  A fascist government or a dictatorship can be religious or atheist.  In a dictatorship there is only one national party.  In a democracy there are two or more parties.  The majority party rules but all the parties have a part in the government.

Fascism is the most extreme of dictatorship which is also based upon racism.  Communism is not racist like fascism but is also a dictatorial government.  Fascism can also be religious supporting one religion with the dictator ruling the nation. In Fascism religion and government are intertwined. Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate the public. Communism is an atheist philosophy against religion suppressing religious freedom and human rights.

Fascist Germany and Communism of Stalin fought a bloody battle in World War II.  Stalin was victorious to stop Hitler from conquering Russia which led to his eventual downfall by the NATO states.  In the end Communism went over to democracy in the USSR.  The two dictators clashed.   Hitler was defeated and the Communist State established by Stalin has fallen.  History is being made.

The Holocaust is a lesson to Jews and to the world that no one party or religion can take control of the world.  Christianity and Islam fought bloody battles for control of the world.  Hitler and German racism tried to conquer the world and failed.  The first Zionists in Biblical times conquered the land of Israel in an attempt to make a Zionist world and failed.  Christianity and Islam each took a piece of the world after the fall of Zionism.

The State of Israel a democratic State was established in 1948 shortly after World War II.  Judaism opposed the establishment of a secular state which was against religious Zionism.  Jews have prayed for two thousand years for the coming of the Messiah who would return the Jewish people to their land and establish a religious Zionist State like existed at the time of King David and Solomon.  The religious Zionist State based on Jewish law was a monarchy and dictatorship. In the Zionist religious State there was only one party, the Jewish National Religious party.  The king was a dictator with the power to kill his opponents.  The fall of Hitler and fascist Germany which killed six million Jews has nullified the sacredness of the law of the Jewish National Religious Zionist State which is still followed today in Orthodox Judaism and gave permission from God for Jews to make a secular democratic state.

The Holocaust is a lesson to all of humanity to oppose racism and to support freedom.   Racism may once have been permitted but today the law of God is equality.  All people are the children of Adam.  There is a place for people to love their own families and nation more than other people but not to interfere with the law of God, the law of Adam. The State of Israel of today is the will of God and not the Zionist State of the past.  Democracy has its faults and freedom can become Anarchy like today in France as the people riot in the streets.  Assad the dictator of Syria maintained the rule of a minority in his country and almost fell to the other side if not for the help of Putin.  To change over from dictatorship to democracy there is always the danger of anarchy.  In Iraq after the fall of Suddam Hussein the nation has still not reached stability.

In Globalization building a Democratic world rather than to remove from the world the threat of another Hitler, the fall of China and North Korea, it is enough to establish a strong Democratic block in the world.  Democracy is not the only way, but it is the foundation of peace in the world.

The Zionist Nation of Israel in Biblical times was all the right side a strong Religious National Dictatorship.  In Jewish tradition it has been the hope of the Jewish people in the diaspora to return to their homeland.  God and Moses allowed political Jewish racism and gave to the Jewish people a Jewish Religious racist law to protect the nation from assimilation especially after its destruction by the Romans.  The Holocaust is a strong message from God for the Jewish people to accept a New Law which gives respect and freedom to other religions in the world which believe in Monotheism which means primarily Christian and Islamic religion.  Maintaining a Jewish State which protects its people from assimilation through supervising marriage and divorce according to Jewish law is still important, but leniencies today are necessary which were not given in the past for example prohibition of children born from parents who received civil divorces in America that were labeled in the past bastards.  Woman who divorced in civil courts and remarried in civil courts are not called adulterous in the light of the New Law.

The prophets Isaiah and Jerimiah who lived in the land of Israel during the day of the holy temple when there was a strong Religious National Dictatorship over 2500 years ago called for change and a new law.  Judaism has waited until after the Holocaust to accept these changes while the world already began to change many years earlier.  In changing from dictatorship to democracy there is always the fear of Anarchy and these changes must be made slowly.  Most important is that a man is considered innocent until proven guilty, and that the law should prohibit stealing, killing and sexual abuse.

The common bind between all of mankind is the desire to live.  The primary vessel for life is peace.  Peace combines and unites male and female interests.  The woman is in the center of the family. The male is the politician.  Every day of life is more important than all of the time of the afterlife when life is used properly.  Justice is a strong pillar of stability but justice without kindness and mercy is the way of the dictator in the home and in the world.  Religious National dictatorships are in the past.  Politics has gone over to the secular humanitarian but religion is still the foundation of the home and family. Iran today a strong Religious National government is for Israel and the whole world dangerous.  It has to give in to the National Democratic Bloc in the world to be part of the New World which believes in freedom. President Trump is not wrong; and Israel a Free State which has joined the National democratic bloc is in danger.  Russia which has protected Assad has put itself in danger because Russia can go back to being the dictatorship which it was in the past if Iran gains power in the Mideast.  Also Iran as a dominant power in the Mideast creates a greater threat in Europe of the infiltration of ISIS through immigration. There are peaceful Muslims which believe in democracy and fundamentalists.  Turkey under the rule of Erdogan is already the beginning of Europe becoming Muslim.  Islamic Muslims believe in the establishment of a religious national dictatorship following the teachings of the Koran.

America began as a protestant Judeo Christian free nation.  The moral values of the American youth has declined severely becoming classically like Sodom and Gemorrah.  The image of the Pilgrim and the remains of the Amish has almost disappeared under the changes of technology.  Chassidic Jewry like exists in Williamsburg in Brooklyn represent the Old Age Biblical cultures which were once the foundation of America.  The movement for separation of Church and State especially in the Public Schools is the main problem.  Theology should be taught in Public School as part of history and political science.  To separate Church and State does not mean to suppress religious values which are part of the history of man.  In every day school there should be instituted a Moment of Silence for prayer and meditation.  Parents which object to interfaith dialogues in their public schools can find for their children private education.  Separation of church and state and freedom of religion does not mean suppression of religion.  The result of suppression of religion in America is violence, hatred, and mental illness. A moment of silence is a moment of peace and tranquility which is hard to find today in America. I grew up in America in the 1950s when America was beginning to change.  The youth rebelled and began the generation of the hippies, the Beatles and Sgt. Peppers and the decline in morality. Freedom alone is not an answer but an ideal to develop.  Without religion and the support of humanitarian values freedom become anarchy. There has to be a balance and marriage between freedom and the opposite of freedom like the marriage of male and female opposites which makes the world go on.  The Guru Janardan who lived and taught Yoga in the 1970’s explained the unity of the two opposites through observing the breath of life inhalation and exhalation.  Through balancing the breath there is peace and unity.  Every person breathes and every person needs peace.  Man is created in the image of God and it is forbidden to kill or destroy this sacred image.  The highest pursuit of life is to find the deep meaning of these words, “man is created in the image of God.”

The two opposite sides of the breath of God are Nationalism and Globalization. The Nazi fascist regime is an example of the danger of extreme national right.  Extremism in the two directions of Nationalism and Globalization both will lead to destruction of mankind on the individual the national levels. The wise men of truth have advised mankind to reach a balance between nationalism and globalization.  Nationalism right which denies the importance of globalization the left and left which denies right will only lead to another World War.   To suppress the rights of the individual or to preach freedom without limitation is not the way of the Bible, the way of truth.
