Kazakhstan Hit by “Unknown Pneumonia,” Deadlier Than Coronavirus

  • Currently, there are over 12 million infected and over 557,000 deaths around the globe.
  • The unknown virus is being studied in a Kazakh lab.
  • At present, the virus origin or genetic mapping has not been conclusive.

Kazakhstan reported an “unknown pneumonia” that has crippled the region. According to the reports, the death rates are much higher in comparison to the Coronavirus statistics. Furthermore, the Chinese Embassy in Nur-Sultan has issued a warning to their employees.

COVID-19 was confirmed to have reached Kazakhstan on 13 March 2020. As of July 10, there have been 54,747 cases reported and 264 deaths.

Meanwhile, the Coronavirus continues to roar around the world. The second wave continues, and many US States are rolling back to Phase 1. Russia is noticing increases in cases as well.  Currently, there are over 12 million infected and over 557,000 deaths around the globe.

Ironically, China did not warn the West of the Coronavirus until it was too late. The World Health Organization continued to downplay the situation as well. It could have been due to Chinese influence within the WHO.

The unknown virus is being studied in a Kazakh lab. Prior to the leaked information, Russia’s Coronavirus was also observed in Kzhakstan recently. The leader of the team is a head of the Komunarka hospital. Komunarka became the main hospital to treat COVID-19 patients in Moscow, Russia.

The leader of the team himself also contacted Coronavirus, and successfully recovered. He also just got awarded Russia’s highest honor by the Kremlin. While being ill with Coronavirus, he quarantined himself in his hospital office, and continued working nonstop despite the illness. It is highly plausible that the unknown virus got the attention of the Kremlin, and the Russian team was dispatched to Kazakstan to obtain samples of the new virus.

Nur-Sultan, known between 1998 and 2019 as Astana, is the capital city of Kazakhstan. In March 2019, it was renamed Nur-Sultan in honour of the departing Kazakh president, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Additionally, the work is underway to compare the pathogen of this disease with the coronavirus. According to the sources, the Chinese diplomatic mission heard of the first reported case in Atyrau, Aktobe regions, and in the city of Shymkent. A noticeable increase in patients with pneumonia has been recorded since June. Pneumonia is not caused by the new coronavirus. The number of infected is close to 500.

Thus far, Kazakhstan recorded 1,772 deaths from the Coronavirus. At the same time, close to half of the deaths were in June. There were Chinese nationals that died too. Interestingly, they tested negative for the Coronavirus, yet had pneumonia-like symptoms and died within days.

At present, the virus origin or genetic mapping has not been conclusive. Just last, week Kazakh government officials reported a large spike of pneumonia cases. All these people tested negative for COVID-19 as well. As of July 5th, Kazakstan issued a full lock down, until there is more information regarding the new virus.

It is possible that this is a case of biological warfare that was leaked from a lab. Interestingly, Mongolia is fighting the bubonic plague, and China has labs located close to Kazakhstan. At the same time, it is not in the best interest of China to have another virus, unless China decided to disrupt the whole world and destroy world economies.

This year continues to create challenges around the world
