Statement on endorsements from Addison Perry-Franks:
I really appreciate the time, and the research these organizations did in endorsing my campaign, I am honored to receive these endorsements.
After several weeks of screenings and questions, each organization that endorsed my campaign did it for one reason: They chose a true, honest worthy candidate for the primary, and they chose a candidate that will fight hard for all Texans.
Whether it be because my promise to keep Separation of our government from religion as it states in separation of church and state, or Religious rights of all individuals, and the freedom to believe in a nonreligion, I am a strong ally for Athiest and Humanist, and I believe all religions should not be judged, and that all people in the state of Texas and HD83 should be free to choose whatever religion or lack of religion if they want without our state forcing one religion on everyone.
Whether it be for LGBT, racial and human equality, I will fight for equality for all, or whether it be for disability justice, for our veterans with disabilities that deserve justice or our citizens in the state that have disabilities that have faced injustices, I will fight all injustices to make it equal for everyone.
Whether it be because of my want and knowledge of the people’s need for healthcare and higher wages, I will fight for low-cost healthcare in Texas and Expanded Medicaid. along with a higher living minimum wage for all our hard workers, so people do not have to work 2 jobs just to survive paycheck to paycheck.
Common sense gun safety reform, Common sense marijuana legalization, and helping our education system, blocking our tax dollars for charter schools, keeping our funds in Public Schools, giving our teachers a equal fair wage across the state, giving our retired teachers a living wage increase, and making sure our retirement system stays strong for years to come.
I will work with our cities and counties for the needs of our constituents.
We do not need to vote for a party, we need to work together for the people of Texas, we need a bipartisan House to help and serve our constituents.
More than ever, Texas and HD83 need a representative that will fight not just for this district but for all Texans. And I promise I will be that representative, a representative that will represent all fairly and equally, and will fight injustices. That’s why I am the best candidate for the 2020 House of Representatives. Vote yourself a Voice, Vote Addison-Perry-Franks.
