National Cancel Lockdowns Day™ – Thanksgiving, Christmas

  • National Cancel Lockdowns Day™ or #CANCELLOCKDOWNSDAY, celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas by gathering with family and friends as usual while practicing social distancing.
  • Lockdowns do not work. They provide work...for mental health professionals because of the plethora of psychological and physiological conditions they cause.
  • Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio "urged states implementing new coronavirus restrictions to "consider the constitutionality of their actions."

As we approach the Thanksgiving and Christmas 2020 holidays, there are mixed views circulating concerning how the holidays should be celebrated this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We have one group who believes only virtual Thanksgiving and Christmas should occur to supposedly prevent spreading COVID. We have another group who believes Thanksgiving and Christmas should be celebrated by gathering with family and friends as usual because gathering does not spread COVID.

Then, we actually have some legislators and others in the political realm who desire to and have called for actual lockdowns within their respective cities or states, wherein individuals are prohibited from gathering on the upcoming holidays.  Some places are even imposine fines for violators. But one global leader is adamant that all should #cancellockdowns. She is founder of National Cancel Lockdowns Day™ or #CANCELLOCKDOWNSDAY, celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas by gathering with family and friends as usual while practicing social distancing.  She is Respected Researcher and Behaviorist Greshun De Bouse, and she shared the following with us about why lockdowns should be cancelled:

Respected Researcher and Behaviorist Greshun De Bouse.

Research indicates lockdown inefficacy in combatting COVID-19. Instead, lockdowns spur additional issues.  In additions, the unconstitutionality and illegality of imposed lockdowns must be considered by those imposing such.  Citizens have the right to assemble as outlined in the constitution.

This is about preservation of rights for all. If entities are allowed to usurp authority over citizen rights in one area without contest, such entities assuredly will attempt to steal other citizen rights.  It is absolutely obsurd that Pennsylvania has mandated that individuals wear masks within their own homes. How invasive is that? If one can not have jurisdiction within one’s own home, he or she has a grim outlook for future retention of other freedoms.

Just a few days ago, Fox News reported that Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio “urged states implementing new coronavirus restrictions to “consider the constitutionality of their actions,” and this is a prudent statement.  Instilling unparalleled and irrational fear concerning COVID contraction in the masses is a part of a larger strategy or agenda employed to more easily take control of citizen rights. When they fear for the preservation of self, family, livelihood, etc., persons more willingly will relinquish rights under the auspices of what they think is safety or protection.

However, my research is consistent with other existent research indicating that neither masks nor lockdowns are COVID deterrents per se.  I founded National Cancel Lockdowns Day™ as a reminder of citizen rights to gather and have authority over the occurrences in their private homes.  Social distancing should be practiced in general-irrespective of a pandemic-as a matter of respect because no unknown individual should invade the space of or be up on the person of another.  Relative to COVID, the summation of the matter is Lockdowns do not work. They provide work…for mental health professionals because of the plethora of psychological and physiological conditions they cause.

Like always, Respected Researcher and Behaviorist Greshun De Bouse wows us with her expertise. According to the website, National Cancel Lockdowns Day™ is “Promoting the right to gather on holidays amid COVID-19,” and the holiday even has its own anthem-the Cancel Lockdowns Day Anthem.  Now though she firmly believes some laws are an unconstitutional violation of rights, De Bouse says she “Does not encourage anyone to break the law and incur fines or adverse consequences.”

Happy National Cancel Lockdowns Day™! #cancellockdownsday
