Ukrainian MP passed to the Prosecutor’s office materials about “Biden’s influence on Poroshenko.” The just released tapes are conversations between former US Vice President Joseph Biden and former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. People’s Deputy of Ukraine Andriy Derkach released audio materials that, according to him, may indicate the influence of Biden on the fifth President of Ukraine.
Derkach is a politician and businessman who is a member of the Ukrainian parliament and an activist of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Poroshenko is a Ukrainian businessman and politician who served as President of Ukraine from 2014 to 2019. He served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2009 to 2010, and as the Minister of Trade and Economic Development in 2012. In 2017, occrp.org published an article relying on the infamous Panama Papers scandal detailing the alleged offshore trusts being set up on behalf the Ukrainian president. Poroshenko was forced to defend himself verbally during a trip abroad.
“We have transferred all the hours – long recordings at our disposal today, along with a statement about state treason, as well as the facts of international corruption, to the office of the Prosecutor General… for registration of criminal proceedings,” Derkach said.
He received the materials from investigative journalists and the recording of conversations was made personally by Poroshenko.
The first topic of entries concerns receiving “$1 billion in exchange for saving Burisma schemes.” The records date back to 2015-2016. In particular, they refer to the need to dismiss ex-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, “who at that time was investigating the Burisma case and came out on Biden.”
Derkach claims that the mentioned $1 billion was directed to receive military state orders by enterprises related to Poroshenko.
The second topic of entries concerns the February 2016 election.
“Poroshenko recognizes that there is no coalition… instead of fulfilling the requirements of the Constitution and declaring re-elections, Pyotr Alekseyevich adhered to the promises made to Biden personally and blocked the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers,” Derkach explained.
Also, according to him, the audio recordings talk about Biden’s influence through the national councils of large state-owned enterprises.
The recording starts at 3:32 of this YouTube Video.
Derkach also said that Poroshenko boasted to the former Vice President of the United States that he raised utility rates higher than the IMF required.
It follows that Biden, a month before the nationalization of PrivatBank, suggested Poroshenko accelerate to catch up to the coming to power of Trump, and called oligarch Igor Kolomoisky a pain in the ass.
It might be time to switch the front runner for the upcoming US presidential election this fall; Joe Biden seems to be tainted at this time.
