The story starts on February 26, 2019 when the Indian Air Force violated Pakistan’s air space and dropped payloads in an empty forest that led to the loss of a beautiful jungle. The Indian Air Force did the same violation on Feb 27, but this time two Indian air force jets were shot down by Pakistan Air Force Squadron Leader Hassan Siddiqui and Nauman Ali Khan.
Siddiqui became a real-life hero when he shot down the Indian aircraft MIG 21 leading to the capture of Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandhan Varthaman. The MIG 21 and a Sukhoi 30 were flying all around in Line of Control early morning at 7 a.m. The Pakistan Air Force detected the Indian aircraft quickly and both Pakistani pilots launched the operation in their JF 17 Thunders aircraft.
The two pilots are approached by the Indian SU 30 first. As the enemy jet reached the open ground, Siddiqui is ordered, on his wireless set, to “engaged the target and fired immediately.” Siddiqui immediately locks his target and fires the missile. The Indian jet crashes and explodes. The pilot Abhinandan was caught alive by the Pakistan Army and later released as a goodwill gesture.
