Russia Added Assassinated Iranian General Qasem Soleimani to the Military Hall of Fame

  • Iran released a cartoon depicting attacking the US military base.
  • Russia added Slain Iranian General Qasem Soleimani to the Honor of War of the Military heroes.
  • Documentary has been released of the phone call between the US president and the Former Iraq Prime Minister.

The new documentary titled “Al-Sai al-Ahira” (“The Last Hour”) aired on the Al-Mayadeen channel. Al Mayadeen was founded in 2012. The channel aims at reducing the influence of the Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya. The channel is based in the Beirut, Lebanon.

Adil Abdul-Mahdi al-Muntafiki is an Iraqi politician who served as Prime Minister of Iraq from October 2018 until May 2020. During Abdul-Mahdi’s term, nearly 560 people were killed in anti-government unrest against Iran and Government corruption. In the documentary,  the former Iraq Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi recalled the phone call he had with the US president Donald Trump. The phone call was made around 9pm on the December 31, 2019, which makes it three days prior to the assassination of the Qasem Suleimani. Qasem Soleimani was an Iranian Major General in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and, from 1998 until his death in 2020, commander of its Quds Force, a division primarily responsible for extraterritorial military and clandestine operations.

He was murdered on the January 3rd, 2020. However, Adil Abdul-Mahdi reiterated that Donald Trump never mentioned anything during the phone call about the assassination of the Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes.

According to the Abdul-Madi, Trump stated that Iraqis know Iranians much better than the US does. His response was “I told him that the Iranians say they don’t want war, just as the Americans don’t want war.

The former Iraqi prime minister stressed: “I suggested that Trump either negotiate directly with the Iranians, or conclude oral agreements with them, similar to those that have been in force since 2003.” Soleimani arrived in Iraq via the official invitation to hold discussions. This trip was preplanned for some time. It should be noted, thousands took to the streets in the Iraq on the one year anniversary of the Soleimani assassination.

Additionally, Iran published a cartoon specifically  dedicated to the anniversary of the assassination of General Qasem Suleimani. The video was released by the Tehran Times in Arabic, English and Hebrew languages.  The verbatim used in the cartoon, depicts Iranian soldiers will pay back for the death fo the General. The cartoon is four minutes with the two parts posted on twitter seeking “Great Revenge”

The symbolism is that the Iranian soldiers are working out and then turn into eagles with missiles and attack the US military base. The missiles hit their targets and explode, but the main striking force is the eagles, which terrify American soldiers. In the end, one of the birds grabs its victim in its claws, flies with it to the United States and throws the body in front of the US president Donald Trump.

Interestingly, the Russian Defense Museum of the Military Honors specifically displayed the image of the General Qasem Soleimani on their wall as one of the greatest military heroes. Russia paid tribute on his anniversary as well. Hence,  if there is a war between the US and Iran, Russia will aid Iran. The writing is on the wall pertaining this scenario.

Moreover, on December 31st, the Iranian prosecutor Ali Alqasimehr stated that G4S is also one of the parties responsible for the assassination in conduction with the Airbase in Germany  of the Suleiman assassination. G4S plc is a British multinational security services company headquartered in London, England.

The company was set up in 2004 when London-based company Securicor amalgamated with Danish business Group 4 Falck. There are certain fears that G4S could be one of the future targets.

Iran also mentioned Germany in the letter that was sent to the Atomic Energy Agency with the intent to increase the uranium enrichment to the 20%

Overall, it is clear, the situation between the US and Iran continues to escalate.
