The Palestinian Authority says it has suspended security cooperation with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) after protesting the Israeli government’s plans to annex parts of the West Bank. On Thursday, Saeb Alikat, secretary-general of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and a senior Palestinian Authority official, confirmed the news.
On May 6 The Washington Post reported that the Venezuelan opposition in October 2019 signed a contract with the American PMC Silvercorp to overthrow Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. The Post states the contract amount was approximately $213 million. The agreement supposedly outlined Nicolas Maduro was the target and specifically indicated the undertaking to overthrow Maduro. Additionally, it included the clause to establish the regime and bring to power Juan Guaido.

When a group of military officers killed the nation’s founding leader, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, many Bengalis—as well as foreigners—blamed the United States. Mujib’s daughter, Sheikh Hasina, now prime minister of Bangladesh, decades later still believes that America was behind her father’s assassination.
Russian state sponsored television aired a spook program this week. Russia (the government’s official channel) televised an exclusive interview with retired Colonel Elena Vavilova (aka Tracey Foley) and her husband Andrey Bezrukov (aka Donald Hattfield). These two agents were arrested by the FBI on June 27, 2010 at their residence in Massachusetts and charged with espionage.
