Shooting in Philadelphia: At Least 6 Police Officers Injured, Attacker Arrested

Several police officers were injured Wednesday during a shooting in downtown Philadelphia, local authorities said, in an attack that preceded the August 3rd and 4th attacks in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, respectively. A Philadelphia Police Department official said on his Twitter account that there is an “ongoing” shooting in downtown Philadelphia and asked people to “avoid the area.”

Within the time frame of 13 hours, America had two domestic attacks on the American people.

  • The first in El Paso, Texas where 20 people died, and dozens more injured, among those was a young mother, while, shopping for party supplies was gunned down, shielding her 2-month-old baby in her arms.
  • In Dayton, Ohio, 9 people were killed, and again dozens injured in another senseless act, driven by hatred.
  • In Chicago, countless murdered and injured, in two separate attacks, with no motive.

Nine Shootings in Ohio, a Few Hours After El Paso Attack

Nine people were killed towards Sunday morning following a shooting in Dayton, Ohio, police said Sunday morning. The attack happened a few hours after a shooting in Texas, which led to a loss of 20 lives.  “The attacker is dead, there are nine others persons dead, and at least 16 others have been hospitalized due to the injuries that they sustained,” the police said on Twitter. Addressing a press conference earlier on Sunday, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley spoke of a larger number of 27 injured.

Texas Shopping Mall Mass Shooting – Followed by Ohio – 29 Killed, 53 Injured

Twenty people died yesterday following a mass shoot out at a Texas mall. Twenty-six others were injured, among them, two children aged two and nine years old. The mall was very busy because schools are about to open and many parents were shopping for their children.
When the shooting broke out around 10 a.m. local time, between 1,000 and 3,000 customers and 100 employees were present in the mall. Surveillance cameras recorded the shooter.

The Pop Star Madonna has called out to God to help and correct the abuse of firearms in America. Once again over the past few days there have been new incidents of killings. Three people dead and 15 people injured at the Garlic festival shooting in Northern California on July 29. Two people killed at a Mississippi Walmart July 30 by a disgruntled employee, one of them a police officer. The shooting happened at 6:35 in the morning.

President Trump’s decision to cancel the Nuclear Peace Treaty between America and Russia is a great stumbling block in the goal of uniting the whole world with democracy. However the decision to cancel the peace treaty may be temporarily a good decision because the peace treaty was made in 1986 before the downfall of the communist regime. Today the alliance of America and Russia as two free world countries is most important to World Unity and Peace. They can make a much better treaty to replace the old one.

That Swal, Folks! First Democrat Drops Out, and Others Should Too

Democratic presidential candidate, and four-term Congressman, Eric Swalwell (D-CA), announced the end of his brief campaign on Monday.  The 38 year-old, who called on former Vice President Joe Biden to “pass the torch” during his lone debate performance, never came close to grabbing it, or any traction in the race.  Swalwell becomes the first Democratic candidate— “major” or otherwise— to drop out.  There are several others, polling at 1% or less, who should probably stop wasting their time and follow suit.

Madonna Takes Strong Stand Against Gun Violence – The U.S. Can Learn from Israel

Madonna came out with a new video striking out against gun violence and in support for gun control.
