Early this week in the vicinity of the entrance to the temple mount two terrorists attacked and stabbed a policeman on duty. The two terrorists were detected by the police patrolling nearby who shot one dead and the other was wounded. The entrance to the Temple Mount was closed to all Muslims Arabs under the age of 50.
On Thursday Israel announced that it would not allow entry to US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minesota) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan) because of their vocabulary and their vocal BDS advocacy. The House Democrats were considering issuing a no confidence statement regarding Israel Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer.
The Israeli government has decided not to allow two Muslim female congressmen to enter the country. Israel earlier accepted the two women’s request for the trip, but in a re-examination decided not to allow it. Blocking the two congresswomen has sparked a backlash and even outraged some conservatives.
US President Donald Trump faces a flurry of criticism following statements deemed racist about women politicians in the Democratic Party. Trump wrote in his Twitter account on Sunday:
“So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”
The question begs: Is it really happening?
Are media giants like Facebook and Twitter censoring rhe right, smaller news companies and the public? Are they censoring Christians? Are they censoring the left equally? With algorithms now controlling everything said, we now also have machines controlling our conversations, our very lives.
- The House of Representatives voted to condemn “anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, racism and other forms of bigotry” Thursday, in the wake of controversial remarks by freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). The vote was 407-23.
