Menachem Begin visited the Lubavitcher Rebbe in Brooklyn New York on his way to Camp David to meet with President Carter and Anwar Sadat to make the peace treaty with Egypt where he returned to Egypt the Sinai Peninsula. His first words which he said to the Rebbe who he considered to be the leader of the Nation of Israel “Our nation the Biblical nation of the Jewish people is an eternal people, not like the Modern State of Israel.” The modern state of Israel needs to make concessions in order to survive which means concessions to America and Egypt.
On Sunday June 2, 2019 will be celebrated Jerusalem Day commemorating the reunification of Jerusalem and the establishment of Israeli control over the Old City in the aftermath of the six day war in 1967.
In 1947 in the United Nations was proposed the establishment of two states in the British Mandate of Palestine, a Jewish State and an Arab State. Jerusalem was to be an International city neither Jewish nor Arab for a period of ten years when referendum would be made for the residents of Jerusalem to decide on which country to join. The Jewish leadership accepted the plan and the Arabs rejected the proposal.

Between the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai and when the children of Israel entered into the land of Israel took forty years. In the beginning of these forty years there was an event in Jewish history recorded in the Bible which was the building of the Golden Calf. Another event in Jewish history recorded in the Bible Numbers 13: Moses sent spies from each of the twelve tribes of Israel distinguished men to report to the Jewish people in the wilderness about their capability of conquering and living in the land of Israel.

There is a goal in Judaism to rebuild the holy temple in Jerusalem. What remains from the Holy Temple is just a wall called the Wailing Wall and in the back of this wall is a mosque where is claimed to be the rock of foundation of the temple and the place of ascension of Mohammed.
