Ben and Sarah Netanyahu Visit Ukraine – News Media Attacks Sarah’s Actions

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah made a visit to the Ukraine.  The purpose of the trip was to discuss the expansion of economic cooperation between the two nations.  He met with President Volodymyr Zelensky and together they signed three bi-lateral financial agreements. In a joint statement Zelensky said that the two had discussed the establishment of joint trade and technology offices in Jerusalem and Kiev to jump start both economies.  He also thanked Israel for backing Ukraine’s territorial integrity after Russia’s annexation in 2014 of Crimea.  It is well known that the father of Zelensky is Jewish.

Overcoming Racism in Religion and Secular Life

Racism is interwoven in life and it is hard to avoid racists not only in secular racist discrimination but also in religion.  Black Americans have fought against racism in America and are only now beginning to win their battle.  Martin Luther King led the black Americans as an American Baptist Minister until he was assassinated in 1968.  When your color is black it is difficult to hide it when seeking employment.

The Chief Rabbi of Sfat Defends Rafi Peretz for His Opposition to Parts of the Gay Agenda

The LBGTQ community went out July 14 in protest against the statements of Rafi Peretz, the newly selected Minister of Education in the government of Benjamin Netanyahu. Minister Peretz, an Orthodox Jew, is firmly against Israel supporting surgeries for people to change their genders. As Minister of Education, Rafi Peretz feels it is important to provide therapy to those that are influenced to change their lives drastically and even to go through surgery to change their bodies to become transgender.

Jesus Was Not a Christian – Book Review

There is a book on the market available through the internet written by a former minister “Jesus was not a Christian.”  Without reading the book the title and introduction hits my heart because it is true.  Most people accept religion as truth.  There is truth which is hidden by religions.

Judaism does not emphasize truth.  Most important in Judaism is accepting the law given by Moses to the Jewish people.  The Law of Moses is divided into two parts the Oral law and the written law.

Theocracy vs Democracy – A Test of Love and Respect

Most people are innocent witnesses of the conflicts in today’s life between democracy and theocracy.  In common folk language we are Jehovah witnesses seeing history revealed. Sunday morning in Brooklyn, we would wake up late and about noon time would come to our doors two very lovely ladies to give us some help.  They were carrying a Bible and some pamphlets which said on them “Jehovah Witnesses.”  We were not Orthodox Jewish but maintained in our house Jewish Tradition.  My mother was respectful to these missionaries.  Not interested was our answer and they tried to accept it.

Supreme Court Upholds Cross on Public Land in Maryland – Decision Needs Strengthening

A 40 foot World War I memorial cross can continue to stand on public ground in Maryland, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday in an important 7-2 decision about the use of religious symbols in American life.

The judges said preserving a long-standing religious monument is very different from building a new one. The court said that this doesn’t violate the constitutional prohibition on the government favoring one religion over others.

The Messiah of Song

Sing to God a new song, sing to God the whole earth (Psalms 97:1)

Israel this year has hosted Eurovision which is the world’s most foremost alliance of public service media representing 117 member organizations in 56 countries and an additional 34 Associates in Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas. There is beauty in song.  There is freedom in song.

Song without lyrics is universal.  When we add to song lyrics is made its connection to intellect; but song is from the heart. On Mount Sinai God spoke to the Jewish people and gave to them the Torah.

The State of Israel – Acceptance or Denial

The State of Israel is in the middle of forming a new government after its recent elections. Israel is in the center of the world and cannot be ignored.

Judaism is the first of the three religions which are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. After the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai, the Jewish people were given their Torah by Moses.  Between the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai and when the children of Israel entered into the land of Israel took forty years. In the beginning of these forty years there was an event in Jewish history recorded in the Bible which was the building of the Golden Calf. Another event in Jewish history recorded in the Bible Numbers 13: Moses sent spies from each of the twelve tribes of Israel distinguished men to report to the Jewish people in the wilderness about their capability of conquering and living in the land of Israel.

Two Sabbath – Two Messiahs

The world was created in six days and on the seventh day God rested.  The seventh day God sanctified and blessed.  The seventh day is the beginning of the next week which begins with Sunday. The seventh day is the end of the week and continues forever without end. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  The direction of heaven is upward; the direction of earth gravity is downward.  Through the Sabbath heaven and earth become connected the unity described in the Zohar the book of Splendor, One with One, God is One and his name is One.

Universal Faith – Bha”i Faith

Universal faith means that religions of the world were revealed in order of progressive revelation. This means that God sent each religious founder prophet to progressively advance religious teachings.  The Bha”i faith in Haifa is a Universal faith. Unlike other universal religions, the Bha”i writings do not state that the human race is a whole but celebrates the variety of religions and the differences among peoples. The Bha”i faith was founded in the mid-nineteenth century by Bahuulah who claimed to be a prophet.  He was persecuted and spent over a decade in prison in Ottoman Palestine.

Idolatry From Two Sides

A recent article about iconoclasm and the power of religious objects got me thinking about Kashmir. In the world today there are two sides in conflict claiming that the other side is idolatry. These two sides are from the side of the Abrahamic religion and the side of Christianity and Hinduism.  In the middle of this conflict are innocent human beings who become the victims of terrorism.

In Kashmir there is a long time dispute both political, ethnic and religious between Pakistan Muslims and India Hindus.  Muslim religion prohibits building any statues of deities.  In Muslim temples there are also no forms or images. The Koran is very strict to prohibit connecting to anything but an empty formless space who is Allah hidden and revered.

Messianic Conflicts – Easter – Passover

About at the same time when is being celebrated the holiday of Passover, Christians are celebrating the Easter festival.  Passover is the time when the Jewish people exited the land of Egypt where they had been slaves for 210 years.  The redemption of the Jewish people from Egypt began when Moses while doing his work as a shepherd witnessed a bush which was burning with a fire which would not extinquish called in Genesis 2:4 “the burning bush.”

Mourning the Holy Temple

Two Jewish woman both millionaires and billionaires have donated 122 million Euro for the restoration of Notre Dame.

One is the widow of the Sephardic banker Safra bank of Geneve and Brazil.  Her husband Edmond Safra was killed in a strange fire in their home in Monaco in 1999.  She has pledged 20 million from her estate.  The other Jewish woman is the wife of the billionaire Morris Betanker from the cosmetic company Loriel.  Forbes estimates their estate to be as much as $50 billion.

A Lesson from the Covington Catholic School Conflict

The boys of the Covington Kentucky Catholic School showed their bravery to stand firmly for what they believed.  Who is right is another question?

There is right and there is wrong.  Religion is believing and following a path which is called the right way.  Christianity is teaching these boys a way of life believing in God and morality. You can see that these boys will grow up to become successful human beings.  They wear the Mega Caps because they admire President Trump who is a successful person.  Whites and blacks can both become successful in a free society.  Slavery is in the past.  President Lincoln freed the slaves.  What is missing in the lives of Americans is religion.

Uniting Eastern and Western Religions

The word Karma today is part of Western Culture Vocabulary. In my opinion the Hindu word Karma refers to obligation.  Free from obligation is called Moksha spiritual liberation, Nirvana  spiritual bliss.  Secularists accept Karma, call Nirvana – vacation, moksha – freedom. However these terminologies need explanation.

Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden were free from Karma. They lived in Moksha and Nirvana.  They were coaxed by the snake to experiment touching a forbidden tree and when Eve ate from the forbidden tree it tasted good.  She gave her husband Adam to eat and they ate together.  As a result their life changed. They had obligation to their family and their children.  When they were single Adam and Eve were free of obligations. They could enjoy the light of God day and night without a baby waking them up in the middle of the night.  Once they entered the real world, they could not get back to the garden, their children kept them busy.

Infinite Light Healing

In the picture of me I am wearing Mirrored Glasses used in my clinic for healing trauma.  In this article I relate healing through interaction of mirrors with the eternal healing of the Messiah.

God is called the One Infinite Light in many Jewish Mystical texts.  He has also other names like compassionate one, merciful one, just one, sustainer, creator, the unity, God of love, the fearful God, Jesus, Allah, Brahma, Beautiful One, the giver of life, omnipotent, eternal God etc.

All the names of God are attempt to pinpoint his greatness.  They are all attributes of God but none of these names can approach his essence.  The name used most in Jewish Mystical texts is The One Infinite Light.

There are two aspects of Infinite God using the aspect of light, The One Infinite Light.  God is by definition One God so there may be a conflict to suggest that there are two aspects of Infinite light.  This conflict exists between the concept of God in Islamic religion and in Christianity.  Christianity came from Judaism which is believing in God the Infinite One, the infinite light.  Also Islam worships God the Infinite Omnipotent One, the Infinite light.  Both oppose Christianity.  However Christianity immerged from Judaism and Islam followed Christianity so there must be a connection somewhere between these three religions.

Peace Between Christianity, Islam, and Judaism; A Way for Everyone

The name of God peace Shalom is the most important revelation of God in the world. It is difficult to believe when you look at the religious conflicts which plague the world everyday. In the Middle East is the political conflict between Israel and the Arabs, Muslim – Jewish conflict,  Muslim Shiites conflict with the Sunni, Catholics conflict with Protestant, Judaism clashes with Christianity, Islam clashes with Christianity, Hindu with Muslim. What is the source of these conflicts from a Biblical eye?

In order to answer this question it is important first to separate religion and politics; political conflicts from religious conflicts.  Politics all the time interfere with peace.  Politics is defined by Wikipedia as the process of making decisions by members of a group. Groups conflicts exist in their interests and within groups when there are conflicting interests.  The goal of politics is to make peace like the goal of religion.  Whereas politics is connected to group interaction religion is divided into group and individual.  Religion has a place for the individual and for the group.

Holocaust Lesson for Mankind

Six million Jews were slaughtered in the Holocaust by the Fascist Nazi Regime of Hitler and over forty million human beings.  According to Wikipedia Fascism is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and control of industry and commerce. Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete and they believe in a complete mobilization society under a totalitarian one party state. Such a state is led by a strong leader a dictator and a martial government composed of members of his governing party to forge national unity and maintain a stable orderly society. Fascism rejects assertions that violence is automatically negative in nature and views political violence, war, and imperialism as a means that can achieve national rejuvenation. German Fascism was also racial.  Hitler claimed that the German people the Aryan race were supreme. The Holocaust came to teach a lesson to Jews and to mankind.

In the history of the world there have been many dictators who have used their power like Hitler.  Hitler may be considered the worst of these evil leaders. In the history of the world there have been political and religious racists that used the type of idealism used by Hitler for the sake of National Unity. There are still movements in the world using this type of racism for the sake of national unity.  There are two major types of governments which are dictatorship and democratic.
