American beverage giant PepsiCo announced that the profit attributable to shareholders in the fourth quarter of last year was $1.85 billion, up 4.47% year-on-year. Adjusted earnings per share were $1.47, slightly better than market expectations of $1.46. Last year, the profit attributable to shareholders was $1.10 billion, and the adjusted profit per share was $0.85.
Beyond Meat shares rose to a six-month high Monday after the company signed a collaboration agreement with PepsiCo to produce and sell fresh treats.
