Chinese technology giant Huawei filed a petition in a U.S. federal court on Thursday, asking the court to find the FCC’s decision to bar Huawei from participating in federal subsidy funding programs violates the US Constitution. Five members of the US Federal Communications Commission unanimously voted on November 22 to identify Huawei as a national security threat and bar customers of US rural telecommunications operators from using $8.5 billion of government funds to purchase equipment or services from the two companies.
