The US Presidential election is just one week away, and, if the polls are anything to go by, Democratic candidate Joe Biden, who is also the massive favourite in the next US President odds, is set to win the race for the place in the White House.
It is reported that a record amount of Americans have already turned out to cast their ballot in the early voting, with almost 60 million people making their way to the polls. Most of the early votes have been made in Texas, Florida, and California, with the majority believed to be in favour of Mr Biden.
As many more American citizens make their way to the polling centres over the coming days, let’s take a look at who the A-list celebrities are backing in the upcoming election. Read on to find out more.
Dana White – President Trump
UFC President Dana White has been a long-time advocate of President Trump. In fact, their relationship goes back further than just politics. White claims that the President helped him take over the UFC in the early 2000s. Earlier this year, White addressed the crowd at a Trump rally in Colorado, whilst the 51-year-old also spoke during the Republic National Convention back in August.
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston – Joe Biden
In a recent campaign advert, Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt endorsed the Democratic nominee. The Ocean’s Eleven star, who also narrated the 55-second commercial, said that Barrack Obama’s former vice president would be a “President for all Americans”. Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Anniston also recently endorsed Biden. In an Instagram post, the Friends actress spurred Americans to use their vote ‘responsibly’.

Rick Harrison – President Trump
Rick Harrison, best known for starring in Las Vegas-based reality show ‘Pawn Stars’, is another celebrity to show support for President Trump. The pawn shop owner attended the President’s inauguration ceremony in 2017, and speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, earlier this year, claimed that President Trump is ‘going to go down is history as one of our greatest presidents’.
‘I Will Vote’ benefit concert celebrities – Joe Biden
Following Pitt’s participation in the campaign advert, a whole host of celebrities turned out at the virtual ‘I Will Vote’ concert in support of Mr Biden. The Foo Fighters headlined the event, whilst the likes P!NK, John Legend, Cher, Jennifer Hudson, the Black Eyed Peas, and Whoopi Goldberg – among many more – also made appearances.
“Music has the power to change the world. So does voting.
“Join us and many other performers for a concert to support @JoeBiden, @KamalaHarris and Democrats down the ballot,” the band wrote on their official Twitter page, followed by a link to sign up to the concert and #VoteEarlyDay.

Conor McGregor (along with several other UFC fighters) – President Trump
Controversial fighter Conor McGregor pledged his support for the president back in January when he replied to one of Trumps Tweets, saying: “Phenomenal President. Quite possibly the USA GOAT [greatest of all time]. Most certainly one of them anyway, as he sits atop the shoulders of many amazing giants that came before him. No easy feet. Early stages of term also. Incredible. Congrats and Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day American.” UFC’s Colby Covington has also used his social media platforms to support Trump, whilst former-UFC champion Tito Ortiz and current UFC star Jorge Masvidal have also endorsed the president in the past.
