Xi and China at the World Economic Forum

  • China barely touched on the topics of the environment or climate change.
  • The "Great Reset" will not happen.
  • China wants equality on the international arena.

Chinese president Xi Jinping spoke at the Davos Economic Forum. President Xi’s speech touched on the equality of the international relations. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the forum was held in the online format. Earlier this week, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the forum as well.

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is a Russian politician and a former officer of the KGB who has served as President of Russia since 2012, previously holding the position from 1999 until 2008.

As expected, China barely touched on the topics of the environment or climate change. The coronavirus pandemic also originated in China, which has infected over 100 million people around the world. China wants equality, but at the same time, the Chinese regime fails to provide such to their own citizens and foreigners.

Moreover, the leader of China drew a parallel between the historical and cultural differences in his speech.

“Without diversity, there will be no human civilization, and such diversity will exist for as long as we can imagine. Different historical backgrounds, cultures, and social systems are as ancient as human societies, and they are integral features of human civilization. . . No two leaves are the same in the world, and there are no absolutely identical histories, cultures, and social systems. The best criteria are indicators of whether the history, culture and social system of the country of its particular situation, do they have the support of the people, are political stability, social progress and improvement of people’s living standards, but also contribute to whether the progress of mankind.”

Yet, at the same time, China is an enemy to the environment, and is holding two Canadian men as political pawns in jail. Xi also reiterated that:

Xi Jinping is the head of state of the People’s Republic of China. Xi is the 11th, and current, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, and the 7th, and current, President of the People’s Republic of China, since the office was revived in 1983.

“No country can solve a global problem alone, and global action, global response, and global cooperation are needed. The international community should look to the long term and fulfill its obligations by providing the necessary support to developing countries and protecting their legitimate development interests. Equal rights, equal opportunities and the equal rules must be ensured so that all countries can benefit from the opportunities and results of development. We should stand for fair competition, for example, compete with each other for superiority on the race field, and not beat each other in the wrestling arena.”

To note, China is the one that continues to steal intellectual property and defense technology.

Overall, it is clear the world’s reset will not happen at this time. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to be an issue for myriad nations.

President Xi’s speech contained a lot of theoretics. It revealed the ideological content of the modern policy of the People’s Republic of China, convincingly proving that the “reset” under the current circumstances has no chance.

The political virus concept has spread in China as a result of the aftermath of the Coronavirus pandemic. China is on the brink of loosing the world elites’ support, and its economy might plunge into darkness with no chance of becoming a global leader in the near future.
